On Tuesday, June 24th, at 12 noon U.S. Eastern time, The Chronicle of Philanthropy will have an online discussion about how the American economy is affecting charitable donations.
Melissa S. Brown, managing editor of Giving USA, and Richard Belous, vice president of research at United Way will be available to answer questions about current giving issues. They will also analyze the trends shown in the newest edition of Giving USA, a list of annual American philanthropy. This study will be available this morning on the Chronicle website.
The discussion is open to everyone, not just Chronicle subscribers. Also, people who ask their questions in advance will have a better chance of getting answers.
